In a press statement, Night Street Games CEO Mac Reynolds shared that when he was in third grade, his dream job was to run a video game studio. This ambition, though seemingly precise, seemed genuine. Dan and he would often play capture the flag at night in the woods with flashlights, friends, and high levels of excitement. The game they’re developing now, Last Flag, is their tribute to preserving the innocence and enchantment of that hide-and-seek adventure, made possible by the talented team they are fortunate to collaborate with.

Tribute Games’ director, Jonathan Lavigne, stated in a press release that ‘Scott Pilgrim EX‘ represents years of honed brawler development skills and deep understanding of ‘Scott Pilgrim‘. Essentially, it’s a satisfying return to our roots. The initial team members at Tribute Games all contributed to the initial video game adaptation of ‘Scott Pilgrim‘ before establishing the studio in 2011. Getting back to this universe seems like an organic progression for us. This game embodies camaraderie, our affection for gaming, music, and smashing robots with a volleyball. It’s rich in history, filled with references, hidden gems, and enthusiasm. For fans of ‘Scott Pilgrim‘, it’s the long-awaited game.
