On January 7, 2025, the PC edition of the open-world action RPG “Sea Fantasy,” made with pixel art, will be available on Steam for 1,650 yen. This is a week earlier than its original release date in February 2025 as announced by developer METASLA. The game will offer language options in English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. Additionally, they are also planning to release unspecified console versions at some point.
According to their official statement, South Korean publishing and development company Smilegate has decided to invest strategically in Absurd Ventures, a U.S.-based media and entertainment firm established by Dan Houser, co-founder of Rockstar Games. As a result of this deal, Smilegate will be able to collaborate with Absurd Ventures on their upcoming intellectual properties.
In early December, Microsoft is set to introduce additional games to its Xbox Game Pass library. These new additions include “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” as well as “Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled”, among others.
