It’s rumored that the secret buyer Take-Two Interactive Software declined to reveal is Haveli Investments, a private equity firm based in Austin. According to reports, Haveli Investments has entered into an agreement with the former Annapurna Interactive employees to finance their new company and let them manage distributing titles previously owned by The Private Division. Approximately 20 staff members from The Private Division are said to have been involved in the purchase, although some may lose their jobs as part of the new setup. The current management is encouraging employees to consider alternative opportunities due to the uncertainty surrounding the change.

The program is set to delve more extensively into the game “Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.” Expect to see several updates and sneak peeks at fresh elements, such as Goro Majima’s transformation into two of Ichian Kasuga’s well-known costumes.

Back in 2024, I got my hands on a remastered gem – a revamped edition of the PlayStation classic from ’98, bearing the same name. This beauty made its debut on Nintendo Switch in Japan on August 1st. As for whether Sting is planning to share this version with gamers outside of Japan by releasing it on PC, that’s still up in the air.
