For EVO Japan 2025, held from May 9th to 11th, 2025, at the Tokyo Big Sight in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan, the Evolution Championship Series has unveiled the list of official game titles to be contested.

After incorporating both Donkey Kong Land and Donkey Kong Land 2, the Game Boy – Nintendo Switch Online application now includes Donkey Kong Land III, as per Nintendo’s announcement.

Starting from today, Ubisoft, both as the publisher, and Ubisoft San Francisco, as the developer, have decided to remove the free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter game, XDefiant, from their platforms. They’ve announced that they will shut down the game’s servers on June 3, 2025. However, players who currently own and are playing the game can continue doing so and even access new content until the servers are officially closed.

Bandai Namco is now accepting registrations for a pre-release trial of the role-playing game titled SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL, which was announced in May 2022 and can be played on both iOS and Android devices. Registration will remain open until January 7, 2025, with the test taking place from January 23 to 28 in the United States, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. A total of 1,500 users from the United States are eligible for participation.

On December 17th, the VR game “Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable,” developed by UNIVRS, will exit Early Access and become available for purchase through the Meta Store on both Quest 2 and Quest 3 devices.

3D action fighting game titled “The Hidden Ones” by MoreFun Studios, a Tencent Games subsidiary, was announced back in December 2022. This game is now set to release for PC via Steam, iOS, and Android in the year 2025 as per the developer’s announcement. Residents of the United States and Brazil can apply on the official website for a chance to participate in the pre-alpha test starting from January 7, 2025.
