Final Fantasy VII Remake Part Three currently nine months into development, not next-gen exclusive

Concerning the third installment of “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth”, development commenced directly following its completion, estimated to be around March or April 2024. This means we’ve been working on it for approximately nine months according to Hamaguchi during an interview for the PC release of “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth”. The main objective for 2024 was to refine the gameplay experience intended for the third installment of the “Remake” project, resulting in a build that aligns well with the team’s collective direction and vision.
