“OpenAI’s CEO, Sam Altman, suggests that users will encounter no smarter model than GPT-4 in the future, but with a significant margin. He emphasizes the importance of releasing products early and making continuous improvements through frequent updates. Over the past few months, Altman has hinted at some shortcomings in GPT-4, stating it’s ‘not great’ and at times ‘slightly disappointing’, if not outright embarrassing.
