AMD has made its debut with Ryzen 9000 series desktop processors (CPUs) available for purchase. The initial launch of Ryzen 9000 was slightly postponed due to some quality assurance problems, such as a labeling mix-up that caused confusion between Ryzen 5, 7, and 9 model names. However, the Ryzen 5 9600X and Ryzen 7 9700X are now up for grabs at popular retailers like Best Buy, Newegg, and Amazon.

Dell is planning to reduce its workforce significantly this week as part of a company restructuring that focuses more on AI. Although the specific number hasn’t been verified yet, it’s expected that around 12,500 positions will be eliminated. A former employee, Ian Armstrong, described the layoffs as a “bloodbath” on LinkedIn and directed people to an alumni network designed to assist during this transition period. This latest move is part of a larger trend by Dell, which has seen around 24,500 job cuts over the past 15 months.

More recently, platform X (previously Twitter) disclosed that they are now employing your posts and actions to educate Grok, an AI Large Language Model (LLM) developed by a firm established by Elon Musk. You can typically access the Grok chatbot from the main menu on their web version or through the mobile application.
