“Is the x86 done? Well, I’ll tell you, rumors of my death are severely exaggerated. We are alive and well, and the x86 is thriving.” Intel CEO speaks on its collaboration with AMD

Yesterday morning, I attended the first day of the Lenovo Tech World 24 conference in Bellevue, Washington. Early on, I sat in on the event’s keynote, at which some very big tech leaders from around the world spoke to the analysts and media gathered. At one point, Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing (affectionately known as “YY”) invited longtime friend and business partner Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger onto the stage. After reminiscing about their friendship a bit, Gelsinger alluded to the x86 Ecosystem Advisory Group press release that had been announced earlier that morning and explained to conference attendees that despite what some people may be saying, x86 is still doing very well.

Windows 11

Commencing in October 2021, Windows 11 marked the beginning of a fresh phase as the most recent edition of Microsoft’s primary operating system. The software is still undergoing substantial updates, such as Windows 11 version 24H2, which includes a host of new functionalities and caters to contemporary hardware like Neural Processing Units (NPUs) to facilitate local Artificial Intelligence (AI) tasks from Microsoft Copilot and third-party applications.

Halo and Sea of Thieves collide in a mod so ridiculous its author had to buy a new PC just to finish it: “It’s a miracle I got it working as well as I did”

Master Chief’s adventures in all six of the Halo games he’s starred in have taken him — and, consequently, the players filling his shoes — across a wide variety of different environments, including everything from Earth’s lush rainforests and human-controlled colony planets to the artificial alien ringworlds that gives the series its name. But while plenty of land and air has been tread on the journey, barely any of it has taken place on or around the sea. Thanks to a hilarious new mod, though, that’s no longer the case.

Hey fellow Diablo fans! The moment we all knew was inevitable – I’ve been soaring too high with the Eagle Evade Spiritborn build, and it looks like Blizzard is coming in to clip my wings a bit.
