Catelynn Lowell Denies Choosing Tyler Baltierra Over Daughter Carly

As a dedicated follower of Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s journey, I must say that their resilience and unwavering commitment to each other and their children are truly inspiring. The recent events surrounding their biological daughter Carly may have been difficult for them, but they have once again shown the strength and maturity that define their relationship.

Catelynn Lowell is not letting the critics have the final say.

After the Teen Mom star, Catelynn Baltierra, disclosed that she and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, had been cut off from communication with our biological daughter, Carly (adopted by Brandon Davis and Teresa Davis), I feel compelled to address allegations suggesting that Tyler coerced me into giving up our child for adoption in 2009. In my personal opinion, these claims are unfounded and do not reflect the truth of our decision-making process.

In her Sept. 19 Instagram video, Catelynn stated, “I’ve noticed a recurring comment suggesting that Tyler presented me with an ultimatum: either my child or him. I want to make it clear that this statement is appalling in numerous aspects.

In her perspective, such statements take away the immense strength and sorrow she felt as a birth mother when she placed her child for adoption.

Catelynn firmly reiterated that the accusations against her are completely baseless. She stated, “It’s preposterous to believe I would give away my child for a man,” she emphasized. “And to suggest that I’d still be with this man after so many years, if he had given me an ultimatum between my baby and him, is utterly repugnant.

As per the 32-year-old individual, herself and her 32-year-old companion, Tyler, had considered keeping Carly, but they ultimately decided that adoption was the most suitable option for them – a viewpoint that mirrors Tyler’s earlier sentiments.

She added, “I understand that a scene was shot where Tyler expressed his belief that, had we raised Carly instead, our relationship might not exist as it does now. However, it’s important to clarify that he isn’t suggesting our relationship would have ended if I hadn’t placed Carly with someone else.

According to Catelynn, Tyler’s statement was largely influenced by the observation that teen parents often don’t stay together. She pointed out that many couples on their show who chose to keep their children have since split up. However, Catelynn and Tyler have been married since 2015 and are the proud parents of three girls: Novalee, 9, Vaeda, 5, and Rya, 2.

She stated that being teenage parents is a source of stress due to the challenges of raising a child. I concur with this view. If we had decided to keep Carly, there’s a strong possibility that our relationship might not have lasted.

In the end, they both appreciate the decision they took since it led them to the lives they currently enjoy.

In summary, Catelynn expressed, “Ultimately, feel free to hold your beliefs, but understand that such thoughts undermine my resilience as a birth mother and Tyler’s as well, being a birth father. It’s appalling to even consider that anyone might think in this way.

For a few days now, the MTV star hasn’t been shy about expressing her displeasure over the current situation involving Carly. She finds it particularly unjust because she believes it impacts unfairly on Carly and her siblings.

She also believes she was initially blocked because Carly’s parents felt scared or threatened when the teen was asking “questions about why we don’t get together anymore.”

In an Instagram post dated September 9th, Catelynn expressed, “As a biological mother, I have no power or authority… only limited influence. All I can do is demonstrate my efforts in the hope that she will one day comprehend how hard I’ve tried and continue to try… it’s up to her to discern who reached out and who kept away.
