However, Catherine was eager to announce some thrilling updates to her friends, certain to provide a refreshing boost for everyone listening.
“I’ve started seeing someone,” she said to Naomi and Darlene at the bar.
“You didn’t mention anything,” smiled the latter.
“Well, it’s early days, we’re having fun,” she grinned, but refused to go any further.
In the initial season of the series, Catherine had a brief romantic entanglement with Aidan Miles, portrayed by Adrian Dunbar. However, their relationship ended dramatically when it was revealed that he was a murderer. Since then, she has not experienced deep or lasting love – only occasional dating on occasion.
In 2022, as reported by Express, Elizabeth Bourgine stated that Catherine was yet to encounter someone who would assume the role of caretaker for her.
“She looks after Neville and everyone else, preparing the tastiest fish and chips for him. She continues to care for everyone, maintaining her kind nature and enjoying life. That’s all there is to say about her. I just wish she finds a partner someday.”

It appears that those in charge are taking notice, as Cupid has finally shown a kind disposition towards Catherine.
