CD Projekt Red is managing multiple projects simultaneously. The Witcher IV and the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 are already confirmed, which alone would be enough to keep a studio busy. Yet, there’s also Project Hadar, their inaugural venture into creating an original intellectual property. While it seems that Project Hadar is still some distance away, they are now actively seeking a talented team of developers to work on this exciting new project.
Marcin Blacha, who holds the position of Vice President of Narrative at CD Projekt Red (which is a role we haven’t come across previously), made an appeal on Twitter for skilled developers (thanks to GamesRadar+). There are various positions open, one of which is a writing role that promises this upcoming, secretive IP has a “universe brimming with possibilities.
As expected, and in line with the broader gaming industry trends, CD Projekt is moving away from their proprietary Red Engine. A senior gameplay designer position at the company now requires designing, creating prototypes, writing scripts, and refining features using the Unreal Engine 5.
Out of the three projects by CD Projekt Red, which one are you most excited about? Share your thoughts on where you’ll experience an unprecedented level of intense immersion in the comment section below.
