Tracy Morgan had to temporarily halt things due to an incident.
Following an episode at a New York Knicks game where Tracy Morgan vomited, he was wheeled off the court at Madison Square Garden, with a towel over his face that seemed stained with blood. However, for Morgan, this health scare is being viewed as a fortunate event.
In his own words on March 18th from the hospital, “I’m doing well now, and doctors say it was food poisoning. I want to thank my MSG family for their excellent care, and I need to give a shout-out to the team that had to clean up the mess.” He also added, “More importantly, the Knicks have won once when I vomit on the court, so maybe I’ll need to do it again during the playoffs. Who knows, it might bring them luck!
Others are feeling just as lucky—but for different reasons.
To give an example, reality TV personality Gina Kirschenheiter from “Real Housewives of Orange County” announced that her ex-spouse Matt Kirschenheiter had a heart attack. She posted a set of hospital photos featuring their children Nicholas (age 12), Sienna (age 11), and Luca (age 9), along with Matt’s current wife Britt Kirschenheiter.
Gina, who is now in a relationship with Travis Mullen after her 2019 divorce from Matt, shared on Instagram on March 18th that they had a harrowing weekend. ‘Matt (the kids’ father) had a heart attack on Saturday! He’s just 40 years old!! We are incredibly grateful that Britt promptly took him to the hospital and the hospital staff acted swiftly. The children were quite frightened, but we can smile now because he is recovering and went home today.’
She went on, expressing her joy along with the children and Trav, “We’re thrilled to have their father back with us again.” This incident was a close shave, serving as a reminder of what truly matters. From now on, we’ll be making healthier lifestyle choices because spending time with our kids is all that truly counts.
She went on to express her joy, along with the children and Trav, at their father’s return. This situation was dangerously close, serving as a stark reminder of life’s priorities. From now on, we plan to adopt healthier lifestyles, focusing on being present for our kids since they are what truly matters.

In a game in December 2024, an AHL player got 25 stitches after being injured by another player’s skate. Later, when he had fully recovered, his father, New Jersey Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald, expressed gratitude to ESPN and said, “We consider ourselves fortunate. I wouldn’t want that to happen to any parent.
Back in March 2025, I, a diehard fan, was absolutely floored when none other than Gina Kirschenheiter from Real Housewives of Orange County revealed her ex-husband Matt had a heart attack – talk about a terrifying moment! But luckily for us all, he managed to pull through this harrowing ordeal. What a relief!
30 Rock’s main actor experienced a health emergency during a New York Knicks basketball match in March 2025, causing him to be taken away from Madison Square Garden in a stretcher.
On the next day, the comedian posted an update on social media, mentioning it was a bout of food poisoning and he was recovering well.
Back in February 2025, I myself had an unexpected experience to share. While we were out celebrating my dear husband Brendan Rooney’s birthday by shooting clay pigeons, a turn of events occurred that left me shot in the face.
In her Instagram post, she stated that another person with us discharged a weapon recklessly and accidentally shot me in the face. Immediately after, @thebrendanrooney swiftly responded, examined my injuries, and hurried me to the hospital. In total, I was hit by bullets in five locations; one bullet missed my right eye by mere inches.
The former Kim Possible star added, “Regrettably, a piece became trapped near my eye, and it’s not safe for surgery right now. My doctors are keeping a close watch on me, but I can see fine as of now.
She expressed her gratitude for still being alive, stating, “My affection for my daughters, husband, family, and friends runs incredibly deep.” She continued by recounting a moment where she felt her life pass before her, urging everyone to seize any opportunity to embrace the people nearby. She emphasized that life can unexpectedly alter in a heartbeat.
Despite the internet often being less than friendly, Amy Schumer is grateful that this time it provided her with valuable information. In an episode of Call Her Daddy in January 2025, she reminisced about the backlash she faced following a series of interviews, saying, “I was like, ‘Everybody, calm down,’ but then doctors started commenting and they were concerned, saying my face looked unusual and they thought something might be wrong.”
When these doctors suggested she might have Cushing syndrome due to elevated cortisol levels or steroid injections, Amy realized, “Wait, I’ve been receiving steroid injections for my scars.”
Amy had undergone a breast reduction and Caesarean section, among other procedures, and was receiving these steroid injections. This led to her developing Cushing syndrome, a condition she might not have discovered if not for the intense scrutiny on the internet.
Now, Amy is simply relieved to know that she’s healthy. As she wrote in her News Not Noise newsletter in February 2024, “Learning that I have a form of Cushing syndrome that will eventually correct itself and that I am otherwise healthy was the best possible news I could have received.
Hailey Bieber experienced a terrifying incident in March 2022 while having breakfast with husband Justin Bieber. She suddenly started experiencing symptoms similar to a stroke, such as facial drooping and difficulty speaking. Despite the temporary resolution of these symptoms, she was taken to the hospital for a thorough checkup.
The medical team discovered a small blood clot in her brain, classified as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). Further investigations at the University of California, Los Angeles, revealed that Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). The blood clot had traveled into her heart through this hole, escaped, and caused the TIA.
Hailey underwent a successful PFO closure procedure and reported feeling well afterwards.
In the same year Hailey underwent her health crisis, Justin also encountered one of his own. Specifically, in June 2022, the “Baby” singer announced a diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition which affected certain areas of his face and led to temporary paralysis, ultimately causing him to postpone the rest of his Justice World Tour. He explained on Instagram that this virus targeted the nerve in his ear and facial nerves, leading to facial paralysis. At the time, he was unable to blink one eye, smile on one side of his face, or move one nostril. The condition made eating particularly difficult for him. However, after some time, the paralysis subsided. Hailey shared on a June 2022 episode of Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well and expressed gratitude that he was in good health now.
Jamie Foxx initially chose to keep secret the details of his hospitalization in April 2023, but later shared his experiences. In Atlanta one day, he complained of a severe headache and asked for an aspirin, but lost consciousness before receiving it. The Oscar-winning actor recounted this incident in his 2024 Netflix special, “What Had Happened Was…” He remained unconscious for approximately 20 days.
Initially examined by a doctor who administered a cortisone injection and sent him home, Foxx’s sister Deidra Dixon became concerned and drove him to a hospital. There, they discovered he had suffered a brain hemorrhage that led to a stroke. After undergoing surgery on the 20th day of his illness, Foxx woke up May 4 in a wheelchair and was unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.
“I want to express my gratitude for every prayer,” he said, “because I needed every one of them.
Emilia Clarke filmed intense battle scenes for ‘Game of Thrones’, but in 2019, she penned an essay titled “A Battle for My Life” in The New Yorker. In her own words, she recounted an incident at the gym where a severe headache led to vomiting profusely and worsening pain that she realized was due to brain damage.
She was rushed to the hospital for a scan which revealed a life-threatening subarachnoid hemorrhage caused by a ruptured aneurysm. The surgery to seal the aneurysm was unbearably painful, and during recovery, she experienced aphasia, speaking incoherently.
Fortunately, her aphasia passed after a week, and she was discharged from the hospital a month later. However, a 2013 brain scan showed that the growth had doubled in size, requiring another surgery.
“When they woke me,” she wrote, “I was screaming in pain. The second operation involved accessing my brain through my skull.”
Thankfully, she’s now fully recovered and is doing well.
Cori Broadus, the daughter of music legend Snoop Dogg, expresses her gratitude towards her family.
This is because when she experienced a “severe stroke” in January 2024, they were quick to rally around her.
She shared with TopMob News‘s correspondent Will Marfuggi in December 2024 that she informed them about the stroke via text and a picture. “Everyone came to my aid,” she said.
Due to additional health issues, Cori’s hospital stay extended beyond her initial expectations.
“I could have been discharged after my stroke,” the star of Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story explained further. “However, my lupus wasn’t in good shape. My kidneys were failing, and there was a lot happening.”
Today, Cori is recovering well.
“I’m doing well,” she added. “I just had to rebuild some motor skills. Apart from that, I was alright.
During the challenging years of her twenties, Shailene Woodley’s health took a toll. Her condition became severe enough to cause hearing loss, fatigue after short walks, and stomach pain from food intake. She was diagnosed with a complex mix of issues, leaving her confused as different doctors offered conflicting advice.
In an effort to find answers, Shailene, who has a background in holistic medicine and herbalism, sought help from both conventional medical professionals and alternative healers. This journey towards wellness spanned over a decade.
During this time, the struggle with her physical health led to other issues such as fear of food due to discomfort, body dysmorphia, identity confusion, and feelings of insecurity about her own body.
However, after addressing both her physical and mental health concerns, Shailene is now feeling much better. She expressed that her health has improved significantly, leaving her grateful and healthy.
