Celebs Go Dating will see contestant confront Stephen Webb after “crude behaviour”

As a seasoned cinephile who has witnessed numerous reality TV dramas unfold over the years, I must admit that the latest installment of Celebs Go Dating has caught my attention. The alleged “crude behavior” exhibited by Stephen Webb towards Dean Muir seems to be a plot twist straight out of a tawdry soap opera.

Following its premiere this week, Celebs Go Dating’s thirteenth season resumes on E4 every Monday, promising a riveting and intense episode ahead.

In the upcoming episode, we’ll feature a segment where 39-year-old Dean Muir addresses Stephen Webb, a previous Gogglebox star, over multiple instances of inappropriate actions on the program.

Previously, Muir shared with The Sun that he found the date awkward, as depicted in last night’s episode on E4. He elaborated: “Stephen suggested I had slept with my students in the car. It was entirely unsuitable. He implied that my car was nearby and we could engage in an intimate encounter. He declared his intention to sleep with me.”

Muir further mentioned that Webb considered him dull due to his reluctance to engage in sexual activities on their first encounter, likening the situation to meeting someone on a casual dating or hookup app.

In the upcoming episode on Monday, it’s been verified that Dean will get a chance to discuss Stephen’s behavior with him, and the show’s representatives will likewise address Stephen’s actions.

1. “We prioritize the well-being of everyone associated with our program above all else. The incident involving Stephen on his date with Dean was handled appropriately by our agents on last night’s episode, giving Dean a chance to discuss things directly with Stephen.”

The latest season debuted on Monday, featuring a mix of famous personalities such as Helen Flanagan (formerly from Coronation Street), Tristan Phipps (from Made in Chelsea), and Ella Morgan (previously on Married at First Sight). These celebrities are paired with potential suitors, guided by the show’s skilled matchmakers.

Celebs Go Dating continues on Monday 26th August at 9pm on E4 and Channel4.com.
