In the Instagram video she shared on October 8th, Céline couldn’t stop praising someone, saying “You were truly outstanding!” or “Simply amazing. I adored every bit of it.
Following her performance, Kelly, aged 42, confessed that she decided to perform the power ballad primarily because Titanic actress Kate Winslet was present on the show. She explained to her audience that generally, she would avoid singing that song due to its challenging nature for vocalists.
In a social media message, the “Because You Loved Me” singer (who graced the stage once more at the 2024 Olympics despite battling stiff-person syndrome) expressed her heartfelt appreciation for Kelly’s touching reaction to her rendition of Édith Piaf’s “Hymne À L’Amour.
