Chainsaw Man Reveals The Biggest Twist Of The Manga So Far

The initial movie adaptation of “Chainsaw Man” is scheduled to premiere later this year in both Japan and North America, but the comic book series continues to publish captivating chapters. In the most recent installment by author Tatsuki Fujimoto, a major revelation from the storyline has been unveiled, leaving readers speechless. This violent shonen series not only delves into intense battles but also incorporates unexpected plot twists that have significantly altered the narrative. One such twist, yet to be featured in the anime, has once again taken readers by surprise with an unexpected curveball.

❗ Caution: If you wish to steer clear of spoilers regarding the Chainsaw Man anime and Manga Chapter 198, be aware that we’ll delve into spoiler-filled discussions. Intriguingly, one of the most surprising revelations in this shonen series was unmasking the Control Devil as Makima. After their battle, Denji tended to Makima’s reincarnation and has since been gearing up for the arrival of the Death Devil in the latter half of the manga. It seems that Denji and Asa, akin to the War Devil, are readying themselves to face the Primordial Fear, hinting that the Death Devil might have been present all along and could be connected to the main characters in the anime.

Chainsaw Man: Famine is Death

In the latest storyline, it’s been uncovered that the character we knew as Fami, who was often associated with Famine, wasn’t actually Famine all along. Instead, a young girl who had been assumed to be Death turned out to be the real Famine. This revelation leads us to question our previous understanding of the characters. As Death calls forth the Falling Devil to disturb both Famine and the Doppelganger of Chainsaw Man, she reveals an intriguing secret about her true intentions.

In a chilling turn of events, Famine suggests her fellow personification, Death, to end her own existence for the greater good of mankind. However, it seems that Death had already contemplated this act. A grisly sight unfolds as Death appears to have disemboweled herself, indicating her desire to discard her mortal form. This act seems to be Death’s strategy to empower Denji and Asa, granting them the strength believed impossible – to vanquish Death itself.
