Channel 5 confirms Christmas TV schedule including All Creatures and Madame Blanc

As a seasoned cinema enthusiast with a soft spot for heartwarming stories and intriguing mysteries, I must say that Channel 5’s festive schedule this year has truly caught my attention! The upcoming All Creatures Great and Small Christmas special is a delightful addition to my holiday viewing list. The charm of Yorkshire and the beloved characters are always a joy to revisit.

As the holiday season approaches, and if you’ve been wondering about what to stream this Christmas, consider yourself fortunate because Channel 5 has finally unveiled their entire festive programming schedule!

As a movie enthusiast eagerly awaiting the holiday season, I can’t help but get excited about the upcoming airing of the long-awaited All Creatures Great and Small Christmas special! Tune in on Monday, 23rd December, at 9 pm – it’s not to be missed!

If you’re up for more detecting during the holiday season, Sally Lindsay returns with a new mystery in “The Madame Blanc Mysteries” Christmas special. You can catch it on Tuesday, 24th December, starting at 9:15 pm.

One show I’m eagerly anticipating is “The Yorkshire Vet: A Donkey for Christmas.” In this heartwarming series, Dame Judi Dench collaborates with Peter Wright, a dedicated traveler who seeks out and highlights the unrecognized champions of donkey welfare across the nation.

On my adventures, I stumbled upon Dame Judi Dench, a passionate supporter of The Flicka Foundation Donkey Sanctuary nestled in the heart of Cornwall.

Viewers can tune into the special on Tuesday 17th December.

Additionally, during the holiday period, you’ll find two more shows on the channel: Christmas Cruising with Susan Calman airing on the 27th of December at 8 pm, and The Serial Killer’s Wife scheduled for the 26th of December at 9 pm.

Don’t worry, film enthusiasts! There are some fantastic movies to watch on Channel 5 during the holidays. For instance, you can catch Jack Frost on Saturday, 21st December at 4:30 pm. On Sunday, 22nd December, at 10:45 am, enjoy Scrooge: A Christmas Carol. And if you’re still up for more, tune in on Tuesday, 24th December at 4:35 pm to watch Catch Me If You Can.

I’m thrilled to share that it’s not just Channel 5 dishing out festive delights this season. The BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 have all unveiled their Christmas lineups recently, promising two weeks jam-packed with holiday specials and beloved returnees. Among the highlights are this year’s double bill of Call the Midwife and the concluding episodes of Vera.
