As a lifestyle expert with a background in entertainment and music, I must say that Charli XCX‘s appearance on Saturday Night Live was nothing short of a triumph! The British singer showcased her versatility by not only delivering an entertaining performance as the musical guest but also impressing us with her acting chops.
The audience expressed their fondness for the Domingo sketch by saying “I love it”, leading Saturday Night Live to invite him back, with the assistance of Charli XCX.
In the November 16th broadcast, Ariana Grande made an appearance in a follow-up to the popular skit where she participated during her hosting gig in October.
In the revised edition, characters portrayed by Charli, Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, and Sarah Sherman depict a quartet of friends. They perform a tune at Kelsey’s baby shower, a character played by Chloe Fineman, who is their pregnant, married friend. The song revolves around their babymoon adventure and recounts Kelsey’s passionate rendezvous with a man named Domingo, with Marcello Hernández reappearing in the role of the attractive male counterpart.
In the original scene, the ladies sung a satirical take on Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” during Kelsey’s wedding. However, for the sequel, they opted to perform a parody of Chappell Roan’s “Hot to Go!” instead.
Lyrics included, “We say, Kelsey, ‘Get off your phone’ / ’cause we know who she’s texting /Know who she’s texting? / D-O-M-I-N-G-O / Kelsey is texting Domingo / Thought that she forgot this dude / She’s sending him her pregnant nudes.”
Ultimately, the identity of the father of Kelsey’s baby is called into question.
Additionally, similar to Ariana, the host delivered some outstanding celebrity impersonations…during a humorous skit that mimicked an audition for the film Wicked, where the “thank u, next” singer is a star. Charli displayed her top-notch imitations of Troye Sivan and Adele.
“Oh hello,” Charli’s “Adele” said as she made her way to the audition stage.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find myself often pondering about the comfort factor. So, may I kindly request permission to remove my footwear? It’s just that I feel the need for a more relaxed ambiance, and I believe this simple act will contribute significantly to achieving it.
In another sketch, Charli played a “chuckle effer,” or comedy groupie, who defends hooking up with a performer from Shrek: The Musical.
In this episode, not only did the artist grace us with her voice, but she also served as the musical act. She delighted us by performing her tracks titled “Sympathy is a Knife” and “360.
