Charli XCX joins Hollywood stars in erotic thriller I Want Your Sex

As a captivated cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that the enigmatic pop sensation, Charli XCX (otherwise known as Charlotte Aitchison), has graced the cast of director Gregg Araki’s enticing film, “I Want Your Sex.”

This summer’s viral hit, the Apple singer, known for popularizing the term ‘brat’ globally, has been chosen to work alongside A-list actors Olivia Wilde and Charlie Hoffman in an upcoming project.

As of now, it’s unclear what part Mercury Prize-nominated artist Charlie XCX might assume in the upcoming erotic thriller, a project penned by director Araki (known for “Totally F***ed Up” and “Kaboom”), and Karley Sciortino.

Production is due to start in October.

The plot summary for the movie goes like this: “How much is too much? When inexperienced Elliot (Hoffman) gets an intriguing job from renowned artist, symbol of rebellion Erika Tracy (Wilde), his dreams become reality as she appoints him as her inspiration for intimate art. However, Elliot discovers he’s in over his head when Erika leads him on a trip deeper than he ever thought possible, into a realm of sex, fixation, power, deceit, and murder.”

With its array of eccentric personalities and a witty, mischievous tone, “I Want Your Sex” promises to shatter preconceptions, leaving you simultaneously astonished and charmed!

In a new development, Charlie XCX has landed her second film acting gig, following her casting in the updated version of Faces of Death directed by Daniel Goldhaber, which premiered last year.

Faces of Death also stars Barbie Ferreira and Dacre Montgomery.
