Charlie Cox Wants Daredevil to Join the Avengers Over Returning for The Defenders (If He Had to Choose)

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled about Daredevil making his comeback in “Daredevil: Born Again” on Disney+. However, many of us are undoubtedly pondering what lies ahead for this iconic character. Amidst the grand tale of the Multiverse Saga, the Avengers are being reassembled, and we’re unsure which heroes will join their ranks this time around. Could Daredevil be among Earth’s Mightiest Heroes? Yet, he’s also had a history with the Defenders team in Marvel’s Netflix series. If given the choice, Charlie Cox himself would prefer to see Daredevil don the suit alongside the Avengers rather than rejoining the Defenders.

In an interview for the promotion of “Daredevil: Born Again”, Cox was asked which team he thinks Daredevil should join in the future. After making a joke about being stuck between a rock and a hard place, considering Daredevil’s history with the Defenders, Cox shared his reasons for preferring the Avengers team.

Throughout these years, he has expressed his deep affection for this particular character. He mentioned that there are some fantastic collaborations, and Daredevil is a key figure in several Avengers comic book stories. In his opinion, having Daredevil team up with the Avengers would be a beautiful tribute to the rich history of the character.
