In a post-apocalyptic action RPG, titled “Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone“, is set to debut on March 6th via Steam for PC in Early Access, as per the announcement by its developer, The Farm 51. A complete version will be made available later on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC platforms.
The fundraising effort for this game via Kickstarter is still active and has successfully accumulated more than 162,000 euros, exceeding its initial objective of 95,000 euros.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my excitement for “Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone,” a gripping post-apocalyptic action RPG that immerses players in an expansive, hyper-realistic open world. This game combines free exploration, intense combat, innovative crafting, strategic team and base management, and intricate narrative storytelling. I find myself stepping into the shoes of a traveler, journeying through alternate dimensions in pursuit of the precious energy source known as Chernobylite. Isolated within the Zone, besieged by legions of terrifying nightmares, I must struggle for survival and rally the few remaining inhabitants.
Story
Exclusion Zone” tells the tale of individuals attempting to complete an unachievable task while enduring the ominous Chornobyl Exclusion Zone.
Cole Grey, a former military and security personnel, dwells in a world where the economy and industry revolve around a material known as Chernobylite. This substance has propelled human civilization significantly. However, the creation of this utopia has resulted in widespread unemployment, forcing individuals like Cole to live on society’s outskirts. Due to severe financial struggles, he decides to become part of the enigmatic “Planewalker” project in order to support his family.
In Cole’s reality, it soon becomes clear that Chernobylite is scarce, leading to an ethically debatable strategy – traversing alternate dimensions to gather this mineral, with no regard for how it’s acquired. To enhance his strength and intellect, Cole must incorporate the essence of Chernobylite, but at a cost: he sacrifices aspects of his humanity. Faced with limited choices, he accepts the gruesome and perilous job offered by Planewalker. This decision leads him to be stranded in the ominous Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, where he encounters the enigmatic Black Stalker, a mysterious figure who rules over the Zone silently and acts as its guide.

Are you encountering a situation that your previously prepared heavy melee build will solve better than your current ranged sniper? Planewalk and use another one.
- Base Development – Develop your base. There, you can create valuable items and upgrade your weapons every day. Assign your people to tasks, and they will take care of your equipment and supplies.
- Factions – Fight for influence and negotiate with factions. The Exclusion Zone is a battlefield that changes every day and reacts to your every action. Can you help them defeat the army of vicious monsters? And when old conflicts are revived, whose side will you be on?
- Cooperative Missions – Experience online cooperative missions embedded in a single-player campaign allowing players to interact in various ways to achieve the goal.
