On June 9th, a star was bestowed upon an alumnus of “Heathers” on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. To mark this significant moment, his 23-year-old daughter, Eliana Haddon-Slater, whom he co-parents with Ryan Haddon, and his wife Brittany Lopez’s 5-year-old daughter (whose name is undisclosed), joined the celebration.
At the ceremony, Eliana donned a lovely short-sleeved, patterned gown featuring frill accents as she affectionately embraced her stepmother Brittany, striking a pose for a picture. In front, her younger sister adorned in a pink dress with vibrant threadwork was seated on Christian’s knees while he knelt before his statue.
Besides his daughters, Sarah Michelle Gellar was among those who cheered on the 55-year-old during this significant moment. She even gave an emotional speech in support of her co-star from their show “Dexter: Original Sin.
Sarah expressed in a video speech published by Variety on June 9th, “Most actors can barely imagine having a career as enduring as yours, Christian. What’s truly remarkable is that you continue to reinvent yourself, making us see you in new ways.” She added, “You are an actor with numerous legacies who will seem just as captivating and fresh a discovery to teenagers watching you for the first time 20 years from now, as you did when I first encountered you.
Quipping that “fair is fair,” she added, “The honor is richly deserved a dozen times over.”
Absolutely, Christian – father to both Jaden Haddon-Slater, age 25 (shared with Ryan), and an unnamed 11-month-old son (with Brittany) – has more than just a successful career to boast about.
