It’s quite obvious that many of the personalities on HGTV probably have some shared traits, such as being well-versed in home design, real estate, and house flipping. However, the future TV lineup stars of The Flip Off, Christina Haack and Heather Rae El Moussa, share more than just a love for similar design aesthetics. In fact, their popular show capitalized on their striking resemblance to each other. With whispers about a potential Season 2 of The Flip Off, these two have joined forces, but not in the way fans might expect – they’ve collaborated in pink bikinis, although not for the reason one may have hoped.

Why Did Heather Rae El Moussa And Christina Haack Team Up In Pink Bikinis?

Originally, there were some difficulties when it came to co-parenting and moving past past events between Christina Haack, her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, and his new wife Heather Rae on the show Flip or Flop. However, it seems that they have managed to patch things up. This reconciled trio, all with a focus on real estate, channeled their collaborative spirit into The Flip Off, where they engaged in a house flipping competition; with the married couple joining forces against Haack who is now single.

That show was so popular that fans have been asking for Season 2 since before the first outing ended, with many wanting Christina to have a flipping partner this time around and believing she and Heather Rae should activate their wonder-twin powers and form a team against Tarek. So, when I saw that they’d been twinning on Heather’s Instagram Stories in pink bikinis, my hope was that it was for an announcement on The Flip Off Season 2. However, it’s for a totally unexpected reason. Just take a look at this photo:

Indeed, aren’t they charming? Not only are they effortlessly relaxed, enjoying a drink in the pool together, dressed alike and styled similarly, but their smiles radiate as they celebrate happy times. If you can’t make out El Moussa’s message at the bottom of the clip, it hints that one of the reasons for this gathering is likely to be celebrated – a toast to a shared occasion.
