Christina Haack’s New Love Sparks Major Life Changes: Here’s What She Revealed!

Christina Haack is making some big changes in her new relationship.

In fact, the celebrity known as “Flip Off” revealed that she’s been embracing a period of personal development – all thanks to her new partner, Christopher Larocca, whom she started dating following her separation from her ex-husband Josh Hall in July last year.

Christina posted a casual selfie on Instagram on April 8th with the caption, ‘Having recently learned that I struggle with anxious attachment and a history of codependency issues. Let me tell you, navigating myself can be quite tough.’

Yet, the HGTV personality explained that having a self-assured and insightful partner, who is a communications executive, has been instrumental in helping her break free from past behaviors and strive to reach her optimum self.

In my own words, I’d say, “I find it peculiar when encountering a remarkable individual with a thriving profession, rich life, and unique hobbies – a man who just so happens to be free of jealousy. This is striking for me given my past experiences.

41 years old and just now understanding the concept of secure communication, maintaining independence within a relationship, and one that isn’t all or nothing, she added. “I’ve definitely put undue pressure on others,” she acknowledged. “Confronting my own insecurities has led me to tackle the inner work I’ve been dodging… it’s high time to end this repetitive pattern.

After all, Christina – who has children Taylor (13), Brayden (8) with her former husband Tarek El Moussa, as well as Hudson (4) with her ex Ant Anstead – hasn’t been able to hide how grateful she feels for the support of her boyfriend during this challenging time in her ongoing divorce.

In my latest Instagram post, I expressed gratitude to Christopher for always pampering me, showcasing my new hair color. It’s reassuring to know that when my life seems chaotic, there’s a magical hair artist like him in my family. Does anyone else feel like something significant is on the horizon?

However, following their public debut as a couple in January after a romantic dinner in Los Angeles filled with public displays of affection (PDA), Christopher confessed he was finding it challenging to cope with the increased attention. To add to their troubles, they participated in a tasseography session, a form of fortune-telling that reads patterns in coffee grounds, on the same day; unfortunately, Christina did not appear in Christopher’s reading.

During my chat on Radio Andy, I shared that my phone was ringing off the hook with paparazzi and reporters hounding me. That particular day was already quite chaotic, and the idea of doing a coffee reading at a boutique in Beverly Hills just wasn’t appealing to me in the slightest.

Christina and Tarek welcomed their first child together on Sept. 22, 2010.

After their separation, they both took on the role of joint parents for their daughter, whom Christina once referred to as an “old soul” who can delve deep into philosophical discussions one moment, only to revert back to childlike behavior the next.

Speaking from the heart as her devoted admirer, I’d say that what truly sets Taylor apart is her incredible talent for striking up a chat with anyone, in any place. She’s vivacious, intellectually sharp, physically active, radiating pure joy, and consistently keeping us guessing.

Christina and Tarek welcomed their second child together on Aug. 20, 2015.

Besides their eldest kid, Taylor, they’ve been jointly raising Brayden following their divorce. Previously, Tarek referred to their son as a bundle of energy and the kindest boy with an enormous heart.

Tarek expressed, “Nothing I say could express just how much joy this boy brings to my days.” He feels incredibly fortunate each day to be this boy’s and Tay’s father. Watching him grow up fills me with the greatest happiness a dad could ever know.

Approximately one year following her separation announcement with Tarek, Christina began dating Ant, an English TV host, in October 2017. They made their relationship official in January 2018, which happened to be the same month that Christina’s divorce from Tarek was finalized. The couple got married at their home in Newport Beach, California, on December 22, 2018, during a winter-themed wedding ceremony.

Christina and Anthony, the father of Amelie and Archie with his ex-wife Louise Storey, became parents to their first child jointly, a son named Hudson, in the year 2019.

The pair had been wed for under two years when they declared their split in September 2020. Nine months after that, their divorce became official.

Since the split, Ant has moved on with actress Renée Zellweger.

On September 6, 2019, Christina and Ant had a baby boy. Upon birth, he weighed approximately 7 lbs 7 oz and was about 19.5 inches in length.

Despite both parties reaching an agreement on joint legal and physical custody of Hudson when their divorce was concluded in June 2021, Ant subsequently filed for full custody in April 2022. His court filings assert that his ex-partner spends approximately nine complete days with their child every month.

In the subsequent December, their divorce settlement granted them shared legal and physical custody of Hudson, as documented by reports from TopMob News.

Back in 2019, during the vibrant celebrations of the Fourth of July, fortune smiled upon me as I crossed paths with none other than the radiant star from “Selling Sunset” – the one and only Heather Rae Young. Our paths intertwined when our boats were docked side by side at a marina in Newport Beach, California. The sparks flew that day, and later that same month, we found ourselves sharing a kiss on a yacht.

Fast forward to August, the cat was let out of the bag when I confessed to TopMob News that this extraordinary woman had captured my heart. With a flutter in my chest, I proudly declared, “Believe it or not, this stunning lady, Heather Rae Young, is my girlfriend – officially!

Back in July 2020, my heart skipped a beat as the news of their engagement swept through. Fast forward to October 23, 2021, and I was on cloud nine, witnessing their beautiful transformation into husband and wife during an enchanting outdoor ceremony nestled near the picturesque Santa Barbara, California. The exchange of heartfelt vows under the Californian sun was truly a sight to behold!

As a dedicated lifestyle advisor, I find myself often embracing the role of a “bonus mother” to Tarek’s two cherished older children, Taylor and Brayden. To put it simply, I’ve come to view these two as my own kids in many ways. Sharing them 50% of the time, I care for Tarek’s little ones with all the love and attention a mother could give. I am deeply content with being their bonus mommy, cherishing every moment with them, and raising them just as I would my very own.

On January 31, 2023, Tarek and Heather joyfully welcomed their newborn son into the world. As he made his entrance, this little bundle of joy tipped the scales at 7 pounds and 7 ounces.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share a fun fact about me. Originally, I was meant to bear the name Tristan, but my parents, in an unexpected twist, opted for Tarek instead. So here I am, known as Tarek, but always with a bit of Tristan hidden within!

His middle name is a nod to Heather’s dad.

Following the end of her marriage with Ant, Christina started seeing Josh from the year 2021 onwards. They made their relationship official in July, and Christina shared that they’d been together for several months by then.

In the words of the star from Flip or Flop, she encountered Josh, a certified real estate agent, that spring when she was no longer in a panicked or defensive state. She had taken a break from social media, hired a spiritual guide, and used Bufo toad venom to help her rejuvenate her mind.

Christina and Josh got engaged that September and tied the knot on Oct. 6, 2021.

It wasn’t until Josh filed for divorce on July 15, 2024, that we learned the specific date of their wedding, as he cited irreconcilable differences as the cause for the separation.

On the July 11, 2024 episode of Christina on the Coast, it was revealed that until then, she had largely kept her family background under wraps, often only providing brief glimpses of her parents in a grandparent role.

In the year 2019, she posted on Instagram that during Taylor’s annual Christmas concert at school, both her family and Tarek’s family would gather together to watch the performance.

She wrote earlier that several individuals had recognized how wonderful this was, noting that many divorced couples (like Tarek’s parents) also do this and it truly simplifies matters for everyone. Moreover, Taylor’s face brightens when she witnesses us all together in a single row, cheering her on.

Despite the fact that Josh gained attention due to his relationship with Christina, his sisters had already achieved fame during the 2000s.

Stacie, who is sometimes referred to as “Stacie the Bartender,” was well-known for being the focus of Spencer Pratt’s flirtations on the show “The Hills.” She also made an appearance on “Vanderpump Rules,” notably as one of Scheana Shay’s bridesmaids during season three.

In simple terms, Angelique – Tarek’s elder sibling – runs Latitude 33 Hair Artistry, located in Anaheim, California. In an episode of the show ‘Flip or Flop’ from 2014, she bought one of Tarek and Christina’s renovated houses. Later on, in 2019, she collaborated with her HGTV co-host brother to film a digital series together.

Tarek El Moussa’s mother, Dominique, is no longer with his father (whose identity Tarek has not revealed), but she is now married to Robert, who refers to her as “my life’s love” on Instagram.

Tarek did not use his father’s name, but in a Facebook post from November 2017, he acknowledged that his elder was celebrating his 70th birthday.

The bond between a father and his kids is truly invaluable. I consider myself fortunate to have had a nurturing and inspiring father who instilled in me the confidence that I could achieve anything life had to offer, as shown in this picture commemorating our family’s birthday festivities for him. To put it simply, I wouldn’t be where I am today without my dad’s unwavering support. I aim to carry forward all the wisdom he imparted to me and share it with my own children.

During an interview with Country Living, Tarek shared that his father was brought up as a Catholic in the Middle East, specifically in Lebanon and later in Egypt, before meeting his Belgian-born mother in Europe during his teenage years.
