Following the divorce filing by my beloved 41-year-old idol and her ex-husband Josh Hall after over two years of matrimony in July, I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of sadness. Instead of displaying her ring finger tattoo in the recent shoot, the HGTV celebrity concealed it using a Band-Aid, as she had been previously spotted doing so when she was out without her wedding ring, following the breakup of her relationship.
Apart from her wedding ring ink, Christina also sports a tattoo. Specifically, she has a script tattoo that extends down her spine from the nape of her neck. This tattoo reads, “Still I Rise,” which is borrowed from a poem by Maya Angelou with the same title.
On the very same day she had her tattoo removed, Christina (who is mother to Taylor El Moussa, 13, and Brayden El Moussa, 8, with her former spouse Tarek El Moussa, as well as Hudson Anstead, 4, with her previous partner Ant Anstead) also offered some travel advice specifically for unmarried women.
In her August 26 Instagram Story, she expressed that when one requires assistance with heavy tasks, it’s like needing a man. However, in reality, she was referring to a very strong assistant who offers a more affordable and secure option.
During the heated divorce proceedings, Christina has taken a few digs at her former spouse, suggesting that he is aiming for a substantial settlement from their divorce.
Following Josh’s share of a “HOPE”-themed sculpture in early August, Christina reshared the picture, commenting, “I’m hoping she increases my paycheck significantly more than what she’s currently offering me.”
According to court records acquired by TopMob News, Christina, aged 41, additionally alleged that Josh, 43, carried out a transaction exceeding $35,000 without authorization and deposited it into his personal banking account just a day following their separation.
In her signed statement, Christina expressed shock and worry because on July 8, 2024, he moved more than $35,000 from her separate funds into his own account. Christina and Tarek welcomed their first child together on Sept. 22, 2010.
After their separation, they both took on the role of joint parents for their daughter, whom Christina once referred to as an “old soul with a knack for discussing profound life topics one moment, and then reverting back to childlike behavior the next.”

In July 2020, the pair became engaged, and they officially tied the knot on October 23, 2021, in a heartfelt outdoor wedding ceremony located close to Santa Barbara, California. They exchanged their vows during this special event.

Tarek did not use his father’s name, but on a Facebook post from November 2017, he revealed that his “father figure” had celebrated his 70th birthday.
“The relationship between a father and his children is so important. During an interview with Country Living, Tarek shared that his father was born Catholic in the Middle East, specifically Lebanon and later Egypt, and encountered his mother, who hails from Belgium, when he was a teenager in Europe.
