I’ve been closely following the lives of the Flip or Flop stars, and it’s with a heavy heart that I share this news: My favorite couple, Tarek El Moussa and Josh Hall, have decided to part ways after just under three years of marriage.
Only a few days prior to their separation, Christina revealed the reasons why her relationship with Josh is successful. She is a mother to Taylor, 13, Brayden, 8, from her first marriage to Tarek El Moussa, and Hudson, 4, from her second union with Ant Anstead.
While she expressed uncertainty about whether there was a hidden factor in their relationship, Christina on the Coast’s host instead emphasized the importance of open communication.
She shared with TopMob News on July 2 that her goal is to maintain open lines of communication and create opportunities for privacy, such as date nights or short getaways.
And Christina suggested her past year was a positive one.
The HGTV star expressed her contentment, sharing, “I’m truly enjoying myself. I adore my home, my loved ones, and working on these projects. Consequently, I feel that things are going splendidly for me.”
As for what she said she hoped to build in the year ahead?
“The 41-year-old, born on July 9, expressed a desire for tranquility. She yearned for a calmer and more serene life, aiming to be more mindful and focused, reducing the turmoil and excitement in her daily experiences.”
It’s worth mentioning that this year hasn’t been the quietest start for Josh and Christina. On July 15, Josh filed for divorce from Christina, stating “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their separation. However, there seems to be a discrepancy regarding the date of separation – while the real estate agent recorded it as July 8, Christina herself listed July 7 in her filing documents.
In his filings, Josh requests spousal support from the court and aims to prevent further awards to Christina. Contrariwise, Christina’s documents indicate that she doesn’t seek spousal support and intends to terminate the court’s authority over support for both parties. Furthermore, Christina has expressed her intention to have her last name changed back to Haack.
Additionally, the documents disclosed that they got married in October 2021, which was half a year prior to when fans became aware of their relationship.
