Christine Tran Ferguson Announces Pregnancy One Year After Son's Death

As a lifestyle expert, I find myself deeply moved by the resilience and courage of Christine Tran Ferguson, the Tour de Lust founder. Her life journey has been a rollercoaster, filled with highs and lows that most of us could hardly imagine. Losing her son Asher was undoubtedly one of the hardest experiences she’s ever had to endure, yet she continues to stand tall and move forward, even amidst unimaginable grief.

Influencer Christine Tran Ferguson is sharing an emotional life update.

The founder of Tour de Lust, along with her spouse, Ryan Ferguson, shared the news that they’re anticipating the arrival of their second child, approximately a year following the passing of their son, Asher, at around 15 months old.

“Excitedly, I’m announcing that our family is growing! Baby number 2 is on the way, as I shared in the video posted August 12th. It’s been a challenging path getting here and navigating through it all has been tough, but we’re incredibly grateful for this blessed addition to our family.”

She expressed, “We feel both thankful and profoundly sad, as well as deeply missing Asher every single day. He’s greatly missed.”

The couple was flooded with affectionate messages and encouragement in the comments area, including one from Kelly Rizzo, the spouse of the late Bob Saget. She expressed, “I can merely speculate about the intricate feelings you must be experiencing, but I’m confident that love and gratitude are overwhelmingly dominant, and I’m so incredibly delighted for you! My warmest congratulations! Thank you for letting us follow your journey.”

I can certainly relate to Christine’s tumultuous year; losing a loved one is an experience that leaves a profound impact on one’s life. As I recently marked the one-year anniversary of my own sibling’s passing, I too found myself reflecting on the memories we shared and the void left by their absence. Grief can be a complex and overwhelming emotion, but remembering the good times can help us find solace amidst our sorrow. Christine is undoubtedly navigating her way through this challenging time with grace and resilience, just as I strive to do every day.

As I’m about to mark a year without your presence, I penned down a heartfelt message on Instagram. “What if we were here, creating new moments together,” I wondered. Now, it seems like those cherished memories are all that’s left, constantly replaying in my mind.

In June 2023, which would have marked Asher’s 15-month birthday, Christine announced his passing, following a secret illness that he had fought bravely in the ICU.

38-year-old wrote: “My heart is completely destroyed, fragmented into countless pieces.” At that moment, she couldn’t comprehend why this happened, nothing seemed to make sense, and she was still in a state of disbelief. All she wished for was to awaken from this unfathomable nightmare and have her son back in her embrace once more. She described her son’s death as the most difficult ordeal that both mommy and daddy had ever faced.

Nearly a month after his death, Christine shared a heartfelt message to Asher on social media.

She wrote, in part, “I keep hoping and hoping that we can gather enough strength to continue with your presence among us. It’s extremely difficult, beyond words. For the time being, we treasure the memories we shared with you, holding them dear for all eternity.”
