Oh, Chrono Odyssey! Back in 2023, this game created quite a stir with its unveiling, and now, it’s back again.
Admittedly, the game’s title resurfaced last year accompanied by a brief teaser that conveyed “we assure you, this game is still alive” – however, since then, there has been minimal information or updates about the project.
The upcoming video is significantly shorter than the previous one, however, it corresponds with the announcement of a closed beta test scheduled for June. Regrettably, this playtest will only be available on PC platforms, but at least it demonstrates that Chrono Odyssey isn’t simply an overly ambitious concept destined to remain in development purgatory.

According to the official announcement, this initial public playtest is a significant leap forward in the journey towards the multiplatform release of our game on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It’s set to deliver an exceptional Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) experience, fueled by state-of-the-art technology.
Once the beta launches, it’s definitely worth keeping an eye out for gameplay clips, since that’s when we’ll get to witness the game in motion. The game seems quite intriguing with its detailed combat system that incorporates time-based elements and a sprawling open world environment.
Have you ever let Chrono Odyssey slip your mind? Are you still eagerly anticipating its release? Please refrain from discussing time travel in the comments area beneath.
