30 years ago, on March 11 (in Japan), the classic RPG game “Chrono Trigger” originally released for Super Famicom in 1985, reaches its anniversary. On their official Twitter account, Square Enix announced exciting updates related to the game and more, planned throughout the upcoming year.
In celebration of our 30th anniversary and as a token of appreciation to all Chrono Trigger players, we have some exciting projects lined up over the coming year that extend beyond the game’s universe. Keep an eye on our Square Enix official X and @ChronoTriggerPR accounts for updates.
Right now, you can play Chrono Trigger on your PC through Steam, as well as on iOS and Android devices. Previous versions of the game have been released for the original PlayStation and Nintendo DS systems too.
