Citlali Pull Recommendation

As a long-time traveler who’s seen more than my fair share of strange and wondrous sights, I must say that Citlali has certainly left an impression on me. Her unique blend of shielding abilities, damage potential, and buffs make her a valuable addition to any adventurer’s roster.

Now, I’ve been traveling for quite some time, and I’ve learned the hard way that not every character is worth pulling for. But with Citlali, I can confidently say she’s worth considering, especially if you’re in need of a reliable shielder or have a penchant for Melt teams.

If you’re a fan of Citlali, or just someone who appreciates a good shield and some decent damage output, then by all means, go ahead and pull for her. But remember, travel is expensive, and not every character deserves our hard-earned Primogems. So, if you don’t have a suitable DPS to make the most of Citlali’s abilities, it might be best to hold onto your precious Primos for another day.

Now, as for her weapon, well, I’ve seen better weapons in my time, but Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers isn’t half bad if you’re already using a catalyst user. If you’ve got some spare Primogems lying around, go ahead and grab it. But remember, there are always other weapons out there that can do the job just as well.

As for constellations, I’d say C0 is more than enough for most travelers. But if you’re feeling particularly lucky (or have a bit of extra cash), then by all means, go ahead and pull for C2. The damage increase from that cons is substantial, but remember it’s specifically designed for Melt teams. If you’re using Citlali for Freeze teams, then you might want to save your Primogems for something else.

In the end, whether you pull for Citlali or not, always remember to have fun and enjoy the journey. After all, that’s what travel is all about! And if you ever find yourself in need of a good shield or some extra damage, you know who to call. Good luck out there, fellow traveler!

Oh, and one last thing: Never trust a shielder with no sense of humor. They might just let the monsters through while they’re busy cracking jokes!

Role & Strengths Analysis

Character Description: Citlali acts as a supportive role, offering protection, inflicting off-field Cryo damage on enemies, and lowering their Hydro and Pyro resistance with her unique abilities (Elemental Skill and Talent). Her Elemental Burst unleashes area-of-effect Cryo damage and replenishes her Nightsoul points which are crucial for her to continue dealing off-field Cryo damage.

Option 1 with Ability: Activate the ability by pressing it, creating a protective shield proportional to Citlali’s Elemental Mastery. Gain some Nightsoul points and summon Itzpapa to unleash area-of-effect Cryo damage in a single instance.

If Itzpapa has accumulated 50 Night Soul points (which is achieved when her Night Soul points reach 50), she transforms into Angry Itzpapa and generates a constant Cryo damage storm that persists until Citlali’s Night Soul points are completely drained.

When Itzpapa is active (through the use of her skill), if your team triggers Frozen or Melt reactions, the opponents’ Pyro and Hydro resistance decreases by 20%. Simultaneously, Citlali earns Night Soul points.

As a long-time player of this game, I’ve learned that some characters require a bit more attention and strategy to fully optimize their abilities. One such character is Citlali, whose Nightsoul points are crucial for her powerful AoE Cryo damage output.

From my experience, it’s clear that Citlali doesn’t just support the team; she supports herself first, using her Burst ability to deal AoE Cryo damage and summon Spiritvessel Skulls near up to 3 opponents. These skulls continue to deal AoE Cryo damage and restore Nightsoul points for Citlali over time, which is vital for her to unleash her full potential.

So, when it comes to gaining Nightsoul points for Granny, here are the methods I’ve found effective:

1. Activating Citlali’s Elemental Skill will grant her 24 Nightsoul points.
2. Triggering Citlali’s Elemental Burst will reward her with another 24 Nightsoul points.
3. When Itzpapa is on the field and an ally triggers a Frozen or Melt reaction, Citlali gains 16 Nightsoul points.
4. Having party members trigger their own Nightsoul Bursts will grant Citlali 4 Nightsoul points each time.

In my gameplay, I’ve found that maintaining a balance of these methods helps ensure that Citlali has enough Nightsoul points to create a storm and summon Itzpapa, resulting in continuous AoE Cryo damage.

Pulling Recommendations

Pro (Strength)

1. The Scroll Hero Cinder City artifact serves as a protective barrier and boost, including its signature weapon if obtained.

2. She offers exceptional support for Pyro or Hydro DPS squads by reducing their resistance to Pyro and Hydro, particularly benefiting Melt teams and Mavuika.

3. In conjunction with suitable teammates, she can deliver powerful off-field Cryo application alongside reasonable damage (take note of the Nightsoul points required for her abilities to activate).

Con (Drawback)

Citlali’s team is somewhat restricted since her talent primarily reduces Resistance against Pyro and Hydro elements. Finding artifacts that boost Elemental Mastery can be quite challenging, so farming for them might require patience.

Should you pull for Citlali?

1. If you’re among those who admire Citlali, then yes!
2. Yes, if you’re a Traveler seeking a protector, particularly for Pyro and Hydro DPS such as Arlecchino, Neuvillette, or MAVUIKA.
3. If you’re not a fan of Citlali, then no, she might not be the character for you. Always pull for characters that resonate with you.
4. If your DPS lineup doesn’t align well with Citlali, then it would be best to hold off on pulling for her. She performs optimally in a Melt team composition.

Should you pull for her weapon?

If you’ve previously utilized a catalyst user, you’re familiar with an excellent 3-star weapon: Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. While the signature provides ample Elemental Mastery and boosts the team, this weapon stands out in its own right. If you have spare Primogems, consider it a good option. If not, you’re aware that she has other suitable alternatives.

How many constellations should you go for?

If you’re playing as a Free-to-Play user, having Character Level 0 (C0) is sufficient for you to appreciate her reasonable damage output, shield, and buffs from Talents and artifacts. However, if you’re willing to invest some money or are incredibly lucky, upgrading to Character Level 2 (C2) would be a fantastic stopping point.

Character Level 1 (C1): When Citlali uses her Elemental Skill, she gains the Opalstar Vestments effect, allowing her to obtain 10 Stellar Blades. Whenever any character (except Citlali) employs Normal, Charged, Plunge, Skill, or Burst attacks, Citlali will consume a Blade to boost their damage output. In essence, this ability further enhances your DPS potential.

Character Level 2 (C2): Upon reaching this level, both Citlali and your active character will receive a free Elemental Mastery bonus (permanent for Citlali but only if the active character has the shield from granny). Additionally, the Talent’s effect that reduces Pyro and Hydro Resistance is doubled. This advantage is particularly beneficial for Melt teams. If you don’t incorporate a Melt team with Citlali, it’s advisable not to spend your Primogems on pulling for this upgrade.

C0R1 or C2R0 or Teammates?

You’ll only find reason to support constellations if you’re ready to acquire C2. However, be aware that it comes with a significant damage boost, but this enhancement is tailored specifically for Melt teams. If you’re utilizing Citlali within a Freeze team, this constellation would be unnecessary.

In simpler terms, instead of focusing on her weapon or constellations, consider getting her teammates if you don’t already have suitable ones. Interestingly, Mavuika and Arlecchino are available in the same version! If you’re drawn to Citlali but lack ideal teammates, disregard the weapon and cons and opt for pulling either of these two characters instead.
