The city-building game titled “City Tales: Medieval Era” by developers Irregular Shapes and publishers Firesquid will debut in Early Access on PC via Steam, starting May 22nd. A demo of the game can already be found on Steam within the “City Builder & Colony Sim Fest”.

City Tales: Medieval Times will debut with Early Access, brimming with content and boasting an intricate economy featuring more than 50 distinct resources and over 60 types of buildings. Powered by its unique 3D procedural engine, each building is individually generated, providing a cityscape where every structure and plot is genuinely distinctive.
In this game, you assume the position of a medieval ruler, managing the development and expansion of your kingdom. You’ll have access to an advanced urban planning tool for designing districts, constructing over sixty unique buildings, and exploring the game’s companion system. As you progress, your settlement will transform from humble hamlets into grand medieval cities, with continuous growth and evolution leading up to the creation of monumental structures that reflect your city’s identity.
City Tales: Medieval Times highlights the storyline by incorporating a group of allies. These figures collaborate with the player in constructing the city, and it is their tale and progression that the player has control over. The player’s choices determine how each narrative evolves, introducing an additional level of replay value and engagement to the city-building genre.
