Although Civilization VII doesn’t officially launch until February 11th, early access has allowed Deluxe and Founder’s Edition owners to start playing a few days early. Consequently, tech-savvy PC users have already managed to explore the entire game extensively. Among other discoveries, it seems that there might be plans for an additional technological era, the Atomic Age, possibly included in future DLC or even cut content.
On Reddit, user ManByTheRiver11 posted some discoveries. In relation to leaders, names like Edward Teach, Sayyida al-Hurra, and Whina Cooper were mentioned, along with civilizations that didn’t fully develop, such as the Ottomans, Māori, Tonga, Pirate Republic, and Iceland. Yet, there is apprehension among fans about the game potentially adopting the expensive DLC strategy seen in its previous version.
