In the 1.2.0 update on April 22nd, Firaxis Games will incorporate the long-awaited “One More Turn” feature into Civilization 7, transforming the game into an unending mode where players can continue playing indefinitely. Although they won’t be able to discover new methods of triumph because they have already achieved victory, they can still progress past the Modern Age and complete other paths to victory, unlocking cinematics along the way. The Age Process will remain at 100%, but the “One More Turn” option can be turned on or off when starting a game, giving players the choice of playing that Civilization 7 game forever or embarking on a new adventure.
In addition to playing “Civilization 7”, users can also work towards unlocking Legacy Path achievements in this game mode. Firaxis Games are planning to extend the endless mode with Single-Age games, allowing players to progress at any desired age, not just the modern one.
In addition to the exciting main feature of the latest update in Civilization 7 version 1.2.0, players can also anticipate other enhancements and adjustments. Another exciting aspect is the introduction of Teams Multiplayer, which promises a more enjoyable and engaging multiplayer experience when playing Civilization 7. This new feature allows teammates to share map insights, relationships, and potential victories with their allies.
In the 1.2.0 update, you’ll find enhancements in resources management, population growth refinements, reorganization of research tasks, introduction of a one-click repair function, decreased occurrence of random disasters, and many additional improvements. Players can anticipate fixing various bugs, upgrades to the user interface that received negative feedback, and other features aimed at improving gameplay experience.
Ultimately, Firaxis Games hinted at upcoming features they’ve previously mentioned. Although these might not appear in the 1.2.0 update, players can anticipate auto-exploration, enhanced custom game setups, new map designs, and official integration with Steam Workshop. Endless Mode is merely one of the numerous thrilling elements set to arrive for Civilization 7 in the future.
