If you’ve been yearning for Claudia Winkleman on your screens now that the latest seasons of Strictly Come Dancing and The Traitors have concluded, take heart – she’s returning to host the second series of her trivia game show, One Question, on Channel 4.
The show that debuted in 2022 has been confirmed to make a comeback for its second season. It will air on Channel 4 at 8 pm on the 14th of February.
In this show, competitors aim to pocket a £100,000 prize by accurately answering just one question. They’re provided with 16 potential solutions, so let’s see if they can pick the right one.
As a passionate cinephile, I’m excitedly looking forward to the premiere of season 2! In this opening episode, it’s my pleasure to see my Leeds flatmates Yuz and Scott stepping into the spotlight, ready for some intense questioning. Furthermore, the married duo Grace and Darren from London will also be joining them in the hot seat, promising a fascinating conversation that I can’t wait to witness!
Concerning the upcoming season, Winkleman expressed: “I have a soft spot for One Question. The fact that it’s straightforward appeals to me greatly. When they asked me to participate, they explained, ‘It’s just one question and one answer,’ which was enough to convince me. That’s all I needed to hear.
There are no blinking lights, no sparkling cannons, and no complex choices to make. I will ask you only one question, and all you need to do is provide me with the answer. I really enjoy this simplicity.
In the upcoming months, Winkleman is anticipated to reappear on your TV screens not just for another season of Strictly Come Dancing, but also for a special edition of The Traitors featuring celebrities.
The cast for the upcoming season is still uncertain, but it’s whispered that Stephen Fry, Robert Peston, Daisy May Cooper, Charlie Cooper, Courteney Cox, and Rylan Clark might be participating.
