Clock Tower: Rewind Launches on October 31st for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch

As a gamer with over three decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia when I hear about the revival of a classic like Clock Tower: Rewind. Back in ’96, I remember huddling around the living room TV with friends, hearts pounding as we played this survival horror masterpiece on our trusty PlayStation One.

Sunsoft recently declared that the game “Clock Tower: Rewind,” developed by WayForward, will be released on October 31st for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. As of now, the versions for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC haven’t been given a release date, but a fresh gameplay trailer is accessible to view. Take a look at it below.

Originally released on the PlayStation One in the West in 1996, Clock Tower was actually the second installment of the series. The first game debuted exclusively in Japan for Super Famicom back in 1995. Rewind offers full English localization, along with options for Japanese, French, Spanish, Korean, German, and other languages.

As a gamer, I’ve got the classic version at my fingertips, but if I fancy something extra, there’s an Enhanced Mode to explore! This mode comes packed with bonus content, save states for easy progress saving, a groovy music player to set the mood, an engaging animated intro, and even a behind-the-scenes chat with the creators. It’s like getting a deluxe edition of the game!

For those attending Tokyo Game Show 2024, Clock Tower: Rewind will be playable from September 26th to 29th. In the meantime, keep an eye out for further updates!
