Cobra Kai Sneak Peek Teases an Emotional Funeral to Kick Off Final Episodes

In just a few days, we’ll be seeing the last few episodes of the cherished series Cobra Kai. The show is set to conclude with a funeral as its opening act for Season 6 – Part 3. Earlier today, Netflix shared a sneak peek of Cobra Kai, and the entire clip shows a funeral scene occurring at the beginning of this final installment. You can watch it in the video above!

Fans of the series are aware that the funeral is for none other than Kwon, the previous leader of Kreese’s recent Cobra Kai reboot. The sixth and final season of Cobra Kai ended with the chaotic Sekai Taikai tournament in Barcelona, where multiple dojos were engaged in a brutal fight. A weapon was involved in the fray, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a knife intended for someone else. Tragically, Kwon grabbed the knife, leading to his untimely death, as he accidentally fell onto it. This grim incident immediately halted both the brawl and the Sekai Taikai tournament.

In the scene, as Cobra Kai loyalists, we honorably send off Kwon by setting a funeral pyre ablaze and taking our leave. Whether our dojo decides to retaliate, given the circumstances, or chooses to step away from this predicament is still uncertain.

From the preview of the final episodes, it seems that the tournament will return to the Valley for its conclusion, marking the same location where Daniel defeated Johnny forty years ago. There are yet two semi-finals to determine, along with the ultimate winner of the competition. Terry Silver and Sensei Wolf’s dojo have been in front since the beginning, but Miyagi-do and Cobra Kai are not far behind. The outcome could change drastically based on those last few matches.

You can check out the synopsis for the final episodes below!

Following a surprising outcome in the World Championship, Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai are forced to confront their past while navigating an uncertain path on and off the dojo floor. Nearly four decades after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, all signs have pointed towards this momentous event.

The long-running series Cobra Kai, spanning six seasons, will conclude on Thursday, February 13th. The last five episodes of the entire show will air then. Over several months, Netflix has been releasing new installments in batches of five episodes at a time.
