CoD BO6 Season 2 Reloaded: Get Ready for New Maps, Game Modes, and More!

Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, signifies that we’ve reached the midpoint of Season 2.

To maintain excitement in Multiplayer and Battle Royale within Activision’s shooting games, they frequently roll out updates that introduce fresh game modes, locations, weaponry, and additional features, ensuring a steady flow of content until the next season arrives.

As a devoted fan, I find that Season 2 Reloaded sticks to a familiar pattern seen in many mid-season refreshes, offering a moderate dose of fresh elements.

In this post, discover everything you need to know about the upcoming Season 2 Reloaded, including its release date and details.

When is CoD BO6 Season 2 Reloaded?

The Season 2 Reloaded update for Black Ops 6 and Warzone drops on 20th February 2025 at 5pm GMT.

As a dedicated fan, I’ve noticed a shift from Treyarch this time around – instead of synchronizing their seasonal updates with the same day as previous Call of Duty titles, they’re taking a different approach.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve noticed an interesting difference between Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 6. In the world of MW3, the excitement of new seasons would roll out every Thursday. On the other hand, it seems that in Black Ops 6, they kick off those thrilling updates on Tuesdays instead.

What to expect from CoD BO6 Season 2 Reloaded

Maps

For Black Ops 6, the Season 2 Reloaded update delivers two brand-new maps to Multiplayer.

In a thrilling comeback, Grind, originally from Black Ops 2, is back with a distinctive style that aligns perfectly with our upcoming partnership with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Next to “Grind” is “Bullet”, inspired by Japan’s super-fast train. The map design includes only one track, ensuring a lot of confusion and turmoil in the games.

Game modes

Players get a chance to dive into a game of TMNT Brawl Mode, thanks to the collaboration with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

This special temporary setting combines elements from Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint, plus additional powers to help you get ahead.

In simpler terms, players can gain unique capabilities for different characters either by activating a Turtles’ Scorestreak during gameplay or by choosing a theme-based costume before starting the match.

From spotting opponents even behind walls to triggering double damage with tossed pizza boxes, these unique features will certainly bring an exciting spin to the beloved gameplay modes in Call of Duty.

Loadouts

In Season 2 Reloaded, there’s a wealth of fresh content allowing gamers to tailor their equipment setup even more extensively.

With a successful kill, the Hunter’s Instinct Perk will reveal the position of an adjacent foe, making it perfect for players aiming for extended killing streaks.

In simpler terms, the Flyswatter is a fresh addition as a Wildcard. It enables players to swap out their close combat weapon for a launcher, boosting the explosion power even further. This proves quite beneficial when striving to achieve Mastery Camos.

Zombies

The TMNT crossover introduces a couple of limited-time modes into the Zombies rotation.

Arguably the biggest addition is the Directed mode for The Tomb Easter Egg.

The game offers a top-rounded cap for added convenience and instructions on how to acquire the Sentinel Artifact. Players can jump right in and finish the primary mission smoothly.

Warzone

Warzone only has one new addition as part of the Season 2 Reloaded update.

In the first appearance of the Low-Profile Advantage, players can now move more swiftly when crouching or lying flat. This feature proves ideal for stealthily navigating through Area 99 and Urzikstan.
