In one of the game’s initial trailers, a hint about the Zombies map was given, but so far, we haven’t had the chance to explore it personally.

Until not too long from now, when Shattered Veil makes its debut on our screens – here are some key points for you.

When is the CoD BO6 Shattered Veil release date?

As a thrilled gamer, I can’t contain my excitement! Starting from April 2nd, 2025, I’ll be diving headfirst into Call of Duty: Black Ops VI, as it unveils the brand-new Shattered Veil Zombies map in conjunction with Season 3’s grand debut!

For quite some time, developers from Activision and Treyarch hinted at the map, but it was only just lately that we got a good look at it.

On March 27th, we got a sneak peek at the upcoming map with a new trailer. The trailer revealed a colossal mansion swarming with the undead.

What to expect from the new CoD BO6 Zombies map

The upcoming update, titled Shattered Veil, promises a wealth of new experiences for players to explore.

The map itself, despite its size, is full of tight, enclosed spaces like those of The Tomb.

What truly stands out about this update is the diverse selection of weapons available for players to use.

Long-standing enthusiasts are bound to rejoice as classic crowd-pleasers, the Wonder Weapons, reappear in the game. Specifically, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 and Mark 2 Ray Gun will be included.

In the game World at War, the Wunderwaffe unleashes a bolt of electricity that links amongst zombies, obliterating crowds.

In a simpler and more conversational style, the updated Ray Gun Mark 2 from Black Ops 2 can blast through groups of zombies by shooting rapid-fire rounds that quickly disintegrate them on contact.

Additionally, the Double Tap Perk-a-Cola offers a reward: it doubles the damage of bullets, boosts the firing rate, and enhances the handling speed for bolt-action rifles and pump-action shotguns.

Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that the Death Machine minigun and Frost’s Black field upgrade are planned to return, although their specific functions and methods for acquisition remain unclear at this time.
