Commandos: Origins launches April 9 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC; later in 2025 for PS4 and Xbox One

The game titled “Commandos: Origins” is set to debut on April 9 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). This will be followed by the release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One towards the end of 2025. Interestingly, these last two versions are brand new announcements. Moreover, physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series will become available on May 22. The news was shared by Kalypso Media, the game’s publisher, and Claymore Game Studios, its developer.

Jurgen Reusswig, studio director at Claymore Game Studios, expressed in a press release that the Green Beret’s famous phrase “Consider it done” perfectly encapsulated their current situation. After over four years of establishing the new studio, designing and developing the game, and incorporating valuable feedback from numerous playtests, they are ready to launch ‘Commandos: Origins’. They are honored and thrilled that players will soon delve into the origins tale of this legendary elite unit, which kick-started this renowned franchise.
