As a die-hard fan of Hideo Kojima’s masterpieces, I can’t help but feel exhilarated by the news that Conan O’Brien is set to return for another cameo in one of his upcoming games! Having grown up watching Conan on late-night TV and later appreciating his wit and humor even more as an adult, this feels like a delightful intersection of two worlds I hold dear.
Hideo Kojima often incorporates various celebrity appearances into his games, ranging from significant roles to fleeting cameos. Notably, the game Death Stranding showcased many substantial roles, including comedian and TV host Conan O’Brien. Interestingly, it has been revealed that Conan O’Brien will appear in another upcoming title by Kojima Productions as well.
In a recent episode of Clueless Gamer, it was confirmed that O’Brien will undergo another scan after visiting Kojima Productions’ new studio. This is because he will reappear in a video game once more following this scan.
The game to be played isn’t definitive yet, but considering the upcoming release of “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach” next year for PS5, it could very well be the chosen one. However, keep in mind that Kojima Productions is also developing an Xbox horror game called “OD”. So, there’s a possibility that this might be the game Kojima has in mind for Conan O’Brien.
