As a dedicated fan of first-person shooters and someone who has been closely following the development of Firewalk Studios’ upcoming game, Concord, I am thrilled to see the ongoing beta testing and the upcoming open beta events. The recent announcement of an extension and the addition of new content, including a new map and Area Control mode, is truly exciting news for the community.
At Firewalk Studios, the early access beta testing period for their game “Concord” is currently underway, and the developer has announced an extra day of testing. In addition, there will be an open beta from July 18th to 21st, during which a new map and the new Area Control mode will be introduced. It appears that the multiplayer shooter may include additional unannounced features at launch, possibly even player versus environment (PvE) content.
During the beta testing, some individuals noticed references to Player vs. Environment (PvE) in the credits. It’s possible that there will be a separate mode for this, but there’s also the suggestion of a Practice Mode where gamers can hone their skills using PvE. However, Firewalk Studios has yet to officially confirm these details, so keep an eye out for further information.
On August 23rd, Concord is set to debut on PS5 and PC. Following its release, there will be regular updates adding fresh characters, maps, and game modes at no extra cost. In addition, every week, you can look forward to cinematic vignettes that delve deeper into the game’s universe. Although not yet accessible in the beta, the Galactic Guide is another exciting feature, providing detailed information on various planets for those who enjoy lore.
