As a dedicated gamer with years of experience under my belt, I have grown accustomed to the excitement that comes with the release of new limited-edition gaming accessories. This week, PlayStation unveiled a stunningly beautiful Concord-themed DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5, and as someone who has been following the game industry closely, I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of envy towards those lucky enough to secure one.
As a long-time PlayStation enthusiast, I’m always excited to learn about new limited-edition controllers for the PlayStation 5. This week, Sony announced a stunning Concord-themed DualSense controller that left me utterly thrilled.
The PlayStation controller is currently available for purchase through PlayStation Direct, but its release date is not until the game becomes available on August 23rd. Similar to other special edition controllers, this one comes with a higher price tag of $84.99 compared to the standard DualSense controller’s typical cost.
I’ve been a dedicated gamer for years, and let me tell you, today’s PlayStation reveal left me absolutely thrilled! The new Concord DualSense controller, unveiled during the event, looks simply stunning. I can only imagine the immersive gaming experiences it will bring to the table. Unfortunately, it seems this marvel is currently only available in the United States. As someone who’s always on the lookout for the latest and greatest in gaming technology, I’m eagerly waiting for its global release!
No matter what your feelings are about the Concord controller and its number of players, this is an appealing choice for those in the market for a new DualSense. Its largely symmetrical design and unassuming appearance make it a desirable option, despite the higher price tag. Compared to previous limited-edition controllers such as the Hogwarts Legacy DualSense or the anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 bundle, this Concord controller distinguishes itself even further.
Regarding the game “Concord,” its performance in the social realm following its closed beta release hasn’t been impressive. The peak player count on Steam was approximately 2,388, which some considered a disappointment. Although it will be accessible on PlayStation besides PC, we don’t have data on the PS5 player numbers yet. However, the low Steam numbers aren’t an encouraging sign for a game that plans to come with a price tag, contrasting many popular free-to-play alternatives.
