As an avid fan of hero shooters and someone who had the privilege of participating in the beta for Firewalk Studios’ Concord, I couldn’t be more excited about the game’s upcoming release on August 23rd for PC and PS5. The recent revelations from the official Concord Twitter have only fueled my anticipation further.
Prior to its release on August 23rd for PC and PS5, Firewalk Studios’ game “Concord” shared some fresh information through its official Twitter account. The developer hasn’t yet addressed the discovery of PvE credits during the beta testing. However, they did confirm the availability of “specific solo-player training modes” upon launch.
As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent in various hero shooter games, I can truly appreciate the importance of getting familiar with each character’s unique abilities, movements, and mechanics. The recent beta for this new game was a much-needed opportunity to do just that. Unfortunately, for those of us who prefer solo play, there won’t be a Free-For-All PvP mode available.
In the launch of Concord, there will be 12 maps and 6 multiplayer modes available. These modes range from relaxed choices such as Takedown and Trophy Hunt to fast-paced options like Cargo Run and Clash Point. Firewalk Studios announced that unlike other games, there won’t be a battle pass right away. Instead, players can acquire cosmetic items by simply playing the game, advancing in levels, and finishing Tasks. One of these tasks is designed to unlock additional Variants for all characters, with multiple options available for each member of the roster.
Based on my professional experience as a project manager and having gone through numerous product launches, I can assure you that staying tuned for more details soon is an exciting prospect. The post-launch roadmap holds valuable information about the future developments and improvements of the product or service. While we wait, I would highly recommend checking out our beta impressions to gain a better understanding of what’s in store. Trust me, the insights gleaned from these initial experiences can be incredibly enlightening and add depth to your anticipation for what lies ahead.
