In their latest financial report for the quarter, Remedy Entertainment announced that the development of “Control 2” has progressed to the point where key aspects are now playable. This means that while the game isn’t fully produced yet, a substantial amount of work has been done, and the team is ready to ramp up their efforts on the project.
“According to Remedy, ‘Control 2’ has advanced to a stage where it can be produced. They’ve achieved a significant step in creating a game build demonstrating key features in action. This progress boosts business discussions. The development team is now focusing on ramping up production for the project.”
Simultaneously, progress is being made on a multiplayer cooperative spinoff of “Control,” which goes by the code name “Condor.” It’s rumored to be known as “FBC: Firebreak” in the end. Production for this project began earlier this year, and now Remedy has shared some insights into how development is progressing.
According to the developer, “Project Codename Condor” is now fully operational. The development crew has been busy creating various maps and mission types, and they’ve arranged extensive internal testing as well as some limited external trials for verifying features and gathering feedback.
