Just now, an update for the PC version of “Control: Ultimate Edition” has been released, introducing features that were initially unavailable on this platform. Although the game is already five years old (with the original version being six years old), it remains one of Remedy’s top-tier titles, appreciated for its powerful combat and stunning visuals. Upon its release, it garnered numerous awards, including DLC and ties to “Alan Wake 2”. Owners of the “Ultimate Edition”, which brought the game to current-gen consoles, will now receive free content such as a new mission featuring Hideo Kojima, creator of “Death Stranding” and “Metal Gear Solid”, along with costumes.
The mission in question is Dr. Yoshimi Tokui’s Guided Imagery Experience, narrated by gaming legend Hideo Kojima. Initially exclusive to PS4 Digital Deluxe version of Control owners, it is now accessible for PC gamers as well. Coincidentally, this update comes just a day after the announcement of the release date for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach at SXSW. Although the timing might seem strategic, the update is currently live on PC and soon to be available on consoles. It includes pre-order incentives such as the Astral Dive Suit and Urban Response Gear, along with DLSS support and HDR Support, which has been eagerly anticipated by fans for quite some time.

In addition, we’ve made some adjustments to fix bugs and prevent crashes in the software.
