As a dedicated gamer and manga enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for exciting collaborations between my favorite brands and anime series. So, when I heard about Converse teaming up with Blue Period, I couldn’t contain my excitement!
Converse is teaming up with the popular anime series “Blue Period” for a new collaboration. This announcement comes as the manga’s live-action movie is set to be released, making it an ideal partnership to celebrate the upcoming premiere.
Below, Converse’s unique collection is being dominated by Blue Period. However, unlike shoes, this takeover includes a variety of Blue Period merchandise for sale at Converse. This consists of hats, t-shirts, tote bags, and more.

Based on Converse’s announcement, manga artist Tsubasa Yamaguchi is actively collaborating with the brand. They have produced exclusive artwork for this clothing line, implying that Yatora Yaguchi, the popular character from “Blue Period,” will soon become a fashionable addition to many wardrobes. The collaboration showcases Yatora and his friends prominently.
Unfortunately, the new Converse collection, named “Blue Period,” will exclusively be sold in Japan starting August 2. Coincidentally, the Japanese release of the live-action film adaptation of the same name is scheduled for August 9. Directed by Kentar? Hagiwara and featuring Gordon Maeda as Yatora, this timely alignment makes it an ideal pairing for fans in Japan.
From my perspective as a gamer and fan of anime, Blue Period is keeping things lively. Not only does it have a live-action adaptation in the works, but the manga continues to release new chapters. Additionally, Seven Arcs brought us an amazing anime adaptation in 2021. If you’re interested in diving into this series, you can find the anime streaming on Netflix. For more details about Blue Period, feel free to read its official synopsis below.
Yatora appears to have it all as a high school student with excellent grades and numerous friends. His academic and social life seems effortless and unremarkable. One day, however, he stumbles upon the art room and is captivated by a single painting. This discovery ignites a passion within him for an artistic beauty he had never experienced before. Driven and consumed, Yatora immerses himself fully in this newfound interest, but soon learns that the world of art can be merciless and unforgiving.
