Coronation Street airs big decision and poignant Swarla scenes in ITVX episode

*Warning: Spoilers for Wednesday 18th June’s episode of Coronation Street, available now on ITVX.*

On Wednesday, 18th June 2025, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) will face a significant choice on Coronation Street, following her major workplace blunder.

On Monday (16th June), a wound up Lisa arrested Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) for harassment.

But this was seen as a massive overreaction to his behaviour towards Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

Brody then had an epileptic fit while alone in his cell.

Even though Lisa overheard the teenager requesting his medication, she moved on without catching if he mentioned he had epilepsy.

Thankfully, Brody was okay, but Lisa was shaken by the turn of events.

Despite her recent reproof due to the ongoing distress following the tragic killing of PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), Lisa’s employment remained secure if she chose to seek counseling for her emotional well-being.

Even though she was still grieving deeply for her deceased spouse Becky, Lisa resisted the notion of seeking assistance.

While the ITV soap opera unfolds, it’s “drag night” at The Rovers, providing a welcome distraction for Lisa. She spends the evening out with her supportive friend Carla Connor, played by Alison King.

During the ITV soap’s run, Lisa finds solace in a drag-themed night at The Rovers Return Inn. Her close companion, Carla Connor (portrayed by Alison King), joins her for an enjoyable night out, helping to divert her attention from recent occurrences.

Later on, as her circumstances continued to trouble her thoughts, Lisa would face a decision concerning her future, leading to some deeply emotional moments shared by the pair.

Will this be a positive step for tormented Lisa, and for ‘Swarla’ as a unit?
