As a long-time follower of Coronation Street, I must say that today’s episode left me absolutely astounded! In anticipation of bidding farewell to cherished character Gail Platt, portrayed by Helen Worth, the makers of Coronation Street decided to keep viewers on their toes with a significant surprise in store.

On Christmas Eve, Gail found herself grappling with the decision of whether to proceed with her wedding plans to Jesse (John Thomson), as uncertainty clouded her mind.

What does he have in store for Gail?
