Actress Sue Devaney, known for her role on Coronation Street, shared an unexpectedly lengthy stay for character Debbie Webster on the famous street set.
Back in March, a beloved character received a diagnosis of early-onset dementia following symptoms such as memory lapses and occasional fainting spells. The narrative will subsequently unfold to explain her departure from the story.
Although some viewers have voiced worries about her potential exit soon, Devaney reassures us that Sue will remain on the street through at least 2027.
Debbie isn’t leaving anytime soon, as I understand that the story will continue until at least 2027.

Fans of the ITV soap are aware that Debbie has been hiding her diagnosis from her loved ones, including her brother Kevin Webster, currently battling cancer, and her partner Ronnie Bailey, whom she deceitfully broke up with to uphold this secret.
However, in upcoming scenes, Debbie is set to finally reveal everything.
“She wants to keep it to herself for as long as possible,” Devaney added.
She’s expressing her thoughts as, “‘Since I’ve been given this diagnosis, how will I manage? I’ll first figure out how to handle it myself, and then I’ll inform my family about it.'” She’s chosen to approach the situation in this manner.
