Coronation Street: Max Turner’s Shocking Confession Uncovered in Explosive Episode!

heads up: The episode of Coronation Street airing on the 10th of February, 2025 (Monday) includes plot twists that have been streaming on ITVX. If you haven’t watched it yet and prefer to avoid spoilers, you might want to skip this information.

In the most recent episode of Coronation Street, the person responsible for the Platts’ house fire has been unveiled. It seems that a particular character’s time outside may be limited.

When the ITV soap resumed, Max Turner (played by Paddy Bever) was recovering following an explosion at their home which also involved Toyah Habeeb (portrayed by Georgia Taylor).

However, even though the arson attack suspect remained David Platt, who is Max’s adoptive father (portrayed by Jack P Shepherd), there was still uncertainty surrounding his innocence.

In my latest film critique, I found myself immersed in a gripping tale where the character, Adam Barlow, played by Sam Robertson, stepped up as a legal ally for the protagonist. Interestingly, there was no concrete evidence against David to keep him detained, and eventually, he was set free from police confinement.

As a devoted cinephile, I found myself in a rather unsettling predicament while watching the footage from Kevin Webster’s garage on the CCTV with my partner, Shona (Julia Goulding). To my dismay, what unfolded before our eyes was nothing short of troubling.

Shona identified the person swiping a jerry can, and without hesitation, she addressed Max, who was wearing the unique hoodie she had gifted him for Christmas on that specific evening.

Max revealed that he had ignited a blaze with the intention of filing an insurance claim, hoping it would alleviate the financial hardship caused by David’s theft from the criminal, Harvey Gaskell, played by Will Mellor.

David managed to reach the hospital moments before learning about Max’s actions, and promptly started searching for the gasoline-drenched jacket that Max had carelessly thrown away in a dumpster behind the Underworld factory.

After being interrupted by Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan), David had successfully verified that the garment was not in the trash bin, and he informed Max and Shona that it was probably already in a dump by this point, exonerating Max.

However, it turned out that Soapland wasn’t fortunate for the clan, as Detective Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) was swiftly given his hoodie by a clever police officer.

Or:

But alas, Soapland didn’t work in favor of the clan, as DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) was quickly handed his hoodie by a shrewd policeman.

As the weeks progresses, Kit is confident that the individual who owns the hoodie will be identified using forensic analysis, and at some point, he’ll get hold of the significant forensic findings.

Will Max be caught out?
