In simpler terms, there was a touching get-together between a well-liked Coronation Street pair, while another cherished figure was finding it tough to deal with a difficult situation.

Daisy Midgeley (played by Charlotte Jordan) experienced a tragic miscarriage due to getting ensnared in David Platt’s (Jack P Shepherd) scheme, which made her extremely angry upon learning the truth.

Over the course of the week, Daisy found herself growing increasingly entangled as she consumed large amounts of alcohol and befriended a new acquaintance named Mick Michaelis, known to some as Joe Layton.

However, when Mick discomposed Daisy and subsequently refused to depart, her former fiancé Daniel Osbourne (portrayed by Rob Mallard) intervened to assist instead.

Later on, Daisy asserted that her feelings for Daniel had faded, and with the arrival of a fresh morning, she persisted in confronting the unkind character named Mick at the Rovers.

Jenny Connor (played by Sally Ann Matthews) told Mick to leave the pub, and Daisy persisted in behaving frostily towards her new stepmother, as she was still upset that Jenny had meddled in the matter of Daisy’s baby’s paternity.

Later on, however, when Lou, Mick’s wife (played by Farrel Hegarty), challenged Daisy about her interaction with Mick, the situation became quite heated and there was a strong possibility of physical altercation. But yet again, Jenny stepped in to prevent any escalation.

Afterward, Daisy shared her sorrow over losing her unborn child and offered an apology for any painful things she said to Jenny.

It didn’t take much time for harmony to return among the women, and Daisy shared her sincere emotions for Daniel, expressing her worry that rekindling their relationship might lead to more pain for both of them.

But Jenny fondly branded Daisy a “plonker”, and advised her to fight for her love.

At Daniel’s apartment, Daisy handed over an affordable bottle of wine and confessed her feelings by saying she hadn’t changed her mind about loving him, adding that he held the top position in her life, and she struggled to picture a life without him.

Daniel responded in typical style by correcting her grammar!

Luckily for him, Daisy was used to his ways, and asked if they could take things slow.

With that, the couple sealed their reunion with a kiss!

With popular character Jordan departing from ITV’s soap opera this year, one might wonder about the longevity of Daisy and Daniel’s blissful future together.
